At LABASA, our mission is to assist small businesses in navigating the complex field of government contracting.  Whether a new business or a mature one, we can assist you in registering for contract opportunities, help you identify items or services that you can provide and even partner with you on contract opportunities with our potential advantage of being a service-disabled veteran owned small business. 

LABASA, LLC was formed in 2024 by Steven Albert. Steve served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps and has a decade of experience in many facets of law enforcement and soon to hold a Juris doctor degree.  Steven has a 100% disability rating resulting from his service in the USMC. One aspect of his LEO career has been the acquisition of surplus military goods under the LESO 1033 and 1122 programs.  This, along with another connection to government contracting has created the desire to participate in Government Contracts through LABASA, a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.  Along with the government contracting, LABASA can assist your company in establishing active shooter drills as he has done for police departments in the State.

Other team members, acting as advisors to LABASA include Lester Albert. Lester has been a certified public accountant since 1982 and currently the CFO of a firm that produces military apparel and equipage for the US Department of Defense as well as other commercial and international companies.  His expertise in both the financial and contract world adds another dimension to LABASA's capabilities.
